This week we profile Katlego Seema, The Beauty Studio’s incredible nail technician. Today she shares her ideas of what beauty means to her in this week’s 5-minute beauty confessions.
1. What’s keeps you busy during the day?
If I’m at work and I don’t have any bookings I practice and improve my skills in nails art or I Google nail art for ideas. I’m always looking for fresh ideas.
2. Where do you live, work and play?
I live in Tembisa Tshepo section, I work at The Beauty Studio and I play at the art centre where I exercise, dance and play with friends.
3. What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty means everything to me because you can’t go out looking like a Christmas tree! You need to know what looks classy and elegant and confidence is everything in a women or man. Having high self esteem creates beauty too and it’s good for our inner soul too.
4. What are 3 of your favourite beauty products that you can’t live without?
I can’t keep it down to only 3 – My top 6 beauty essentials I can’t do without are:
- Garnier face wash and Garnier’s Vanishing Cream
- Black Like Me hair dye
- Peruvian weaves
- Yardley press powder and Mousse Matt Foundation
- Villa Lady Million cologne
- My eye shadows😎
5. What does a successful 2020 look like to you?
I have more clients, make more money and I keep improving the already high quality of my work.
