We welcome our new brand ambassadress and actress, Kwezi Ndlovu as our #WonderfulWoman this week. We are thrilled to have her show off our work and profile our Salon. She epitomises beauty and is a natural fit for our brand. She shares her ideas of beauty in this weeks 5 minute beauty confessions.
1. What’s keeps you busy during the day?
What keeps me busy during the day is work and on days I am not working, I focus on self care – I go to gym, I mask, I take care of my natural hair as well as my wigs and I meditate and recentre just to pull myself towards myself because of the busy lifestyle that I lead.
2. Where do you live, work and play?
I’m originally from Durban but because of work I now live in Johannesburg in Olivedale. I work for Bomb Productions as an actress in a production called Isithembiso that’s currently airing on Mzansi Magic channel 161 at 7:30pm on Monday to Friday. I spend some of my free time going out for breakfast, lunch or dinner with friends, rekindling my friendships and once in a while we go out and paint the town red in popular spots around town.
3. What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty means ‘Everything’ to me. Beauty means love, and self care. Beauty to me doesn’t refer to the physical appearance of a person but rather how a person takes care of themselves. Bathing, taking care of your skin, hair, nails, even if it means keeping it simple… as long as something is done about it. You take care of what you love, and if you love yourself you’ll take care of yourself. That for me is what beauty is about.
4. What are 3 of your favourite beauty products that you can’t live without?
My top 3 beauty products that I cannot love without is
1. Sunscreen
2. Clear lip balm/ lipgloss
3. Facial wipes.
5. What does a successful 2020 look like to you?
A successful 2020 for me is Spiritual, Mental, Physical and Financial alignment. That’s where peace of mind comes from.
